People Learning Academy is compliant with General Data Protection Regulation.

The way we use your data

People Learning Academy is committed to building trust with our customers. We have a transparent Data Protection Policy in place. We offer you choice and control over how your data is used.

People Learning Academy uses your data for internal use only. We may use your data in order to deliver our services to you or for marketing purposes such as updates on new courses and our special offers or to provide useful information about our programmes.

You have the right to complain to the ICO if you think there is a problem with the way we are handling your data.

You also have the right to request for your data to be destroyed. In such case People Learning Academy of English has 14 working days to respond to your request.

You have the right to access your personal data. Information will be provided without delay and at the latest within one month of receipt of request.

You can make a request to update inaccurate or incomplete data. The request may be made verbally or in writing. We have one calendar month to respond.

What personal data we hold

The customer data we may hold includes:

• Email address
• Correspondence address
• Date of birth
• Nationality and mother tongue
• Emergency contact details
• Copy of ID

Data retention periods

We have a duty not to store any personal data for longer than we may need it. Customer data will be normally stored for the period of 6 years.
